In this 3-hour workshop, Robin Fitzimons will show you how to make an heirloom quality leather belt. You will learn the basics of leather working, the different types of leather, and the names of some of her favourite suppliers. By the end of the class you'll have made your own leather belt complete with monogramming.

Choose from Chestnut or Black full grain leather, and narrow or wide nickel or brass buckles. If you’re making your belt for someone else, be sure to bring in their waist measurement.*

This class is suited to all skill levels.

*HOW TO MEASURE YOUR BELT SIZE:

1. Using a Belt You Own
Measure from the hole you use most often to the inner tip of the belt buckle. If you’re in between sizes round up to the next inch.

2. Using Your Pants
Put on the pair of pants you want to wear the belt with. Measure around your waist along the belt loops. If you’re in between sizes round up to the next inch.
